Photo and Stitch made a stencil pattern for Juan. Stencil quilts are available. We may put it up as a standard product...but have not yet - we simply haven't figured out how to put it on an order form, and don't feel confident that we can do as wide a range of photos in this technique. Send us an email and tell us if you want it..and we will give it a try! |

Grandma and Grandpa's Wedding by Opal (above)
Eleven-year old Opal's very first quilt won a blue ribbon at the fair. She didn't want a black and white quilt - or sepia...she wanted more color. We suggested fading the edges because it gave more clarity to the subject of the picture.

Baby Blue-Eyes (above)
Blue-eyes was cropped to a much smaller picture to focus on her beautiful eyes. Nothing else was changed

We often get asked "How big does my picture need to be...not very. This was done with a wallet-sized picture, and then the Warhol effect was applied.

Lily Quilt
This style of quilt was the idea of a customer, and it has been popular because no photo is needed. Lily loves lady-bugs, so we dotted her "i" with a lady bug. |

Dory Quilt
Dory was the very first Photo-Mosaic quilt that turned out to be "OK". If we had known where it was going, we would not have used a license picture, and cannot sell such products. Since Dory we have improved our technology a lot, and our colors are much more brilliant, and the mosaic tiles more distinct, but she is still a favorite.
The small tiles are pictures of Ellen Degeneres, who voiced the Dory Character in the movie.
We can use your own library of photos, but best results require 100 at minimum. |
